Outdoor seating at the Ostrich over the colder months will include two teepees. The tents will have fire pits inside to keep clients warm.
General Manager Andrew Clarke tells us that the teepees will be for seated service only and will be non-smoking. The Ostrich will not be taking group bookings for the teepees or hire them out privately.
The larger teepee will hold only 28 covers maximum and set out in tables of four, no larger. The second teepee will only seat 20 covers maximum and again in sets of tables of four.
Andrew has promised
“a German theme BBQ shack menu, with Schnitzels, Bratwurst, fully loaded fried such as, Currywurst fries, hot pretzel bites and many more goodies. We will be introducing mulled wine, mulled cider and a few more winter warmer drinks too.”
Both teepees will be full operational by the 28th October.
