On 18th March the City Council’s Development Control Committee B will take a decision on the proposal to build a jetty on the wall of the New Cut along Commercial Road (image right – application no. 19/01925/F).Friends of Bathurst Basin have formally objected to the proposal: details here.
From Wednesday 11th March a copy of the officer’s report and recommendation can be viewed on-line with the planning application documents. Whilst this report will have a recommendation to either grant or refuse permission, this recommendation does not mean that the decision has already been taken, as the decision rests entirely with the elected members meeting on the 18th.
