Bristol City Council is currently assessing the condition of the harbour walls. The work involves surveys of the walls using scanning technology mounted on a vessel and from the opposite bank, and requires a clear line of sight to the wall.
Many areas of the Harbour have already been scanned and the work in Bathurst Basin is scheduled for 18th – 29th November. Boats currently moored along the Bathurst Parade quay are being asked to move to Baltic Wharf for the duration of the Basin’s survey. The Harbour team will move any vessels not moved by the owners.
